It was pre covid time and we were traveling to India on Etihad. The flight gave us 8 hours stopover and we decided to go out.
As soon as you go out of airport there are many people who are not registered taxi driver but willing to take you around and we found this guy from Pakistan who was actually taxi driver. He charged us AUD65-70 and took us in his Honda Civic. We were there on friday which is public holiday in UAE and not much to do till afternoon. So we did bit of sightseeing and had lunch and head back to airport.
