If you want to see real India then travel by Indian Railways. This is the network on which million people travel everyday. While being in India, I got the chance to travel from Delhi to Ajmer on Shatabdi Express.
The 6 hours journey took me from some of beautiful country side of Rajasthan to the old and religious city of Ajmer via Jaipur. It is not advised but you can open the door and stand while train is moving at 100km/hr (please don’t do this as it can cause injury or even death).
Along the railway line situated is the villages and farms and life’s of millions who are away from running and hustling lifestyles of city. At this moment I decided to take my camera out and while using my Canon 70-200mm lens I started shooting.
While train in motion at over 100km/hr it was the pure strength of Canon 5D along with lens which allowed me to focus on the subject immediately. Once you miss the frame is gone forever.
The gallery is the collection of the photos I captured while standing on the door in the beautiful country side of Rajasthan, India and I leave you to the pictures to tell the remaining story. Hope you enjoy.
